Below I have outlined my key abilities. With an industry as people orientated as the hospitality industry, it is important to create the correct balance within a team.
I have therefore sorted my abilities under the following headings to make the process easier.

Sales and Marketing Skills
With direct at front line, dedicated "selling" experience and related education, I offer the skills to develop markets / products while maximizing the yield. Combined with industry knowledge and utilization of guest related data, I have the ability to develop brand and market new and existing products.

Technical Skills
Experience with various applications, Windows, Lotus, Publisher, Microsoft Office Suite and Quick Books accounting software, assist with marketing, budgeting and cost control measures.
Operational experience on various PMS (Property Management Systems). Fidelio (Version 6.2), Hotel XL, AS 400, Micros and versed also in report writing options with Fidelio and via IQ (Intelligent Query).

Administration and Management Abilities
Vast experience in management has meant development of "big picture" management. Organizational skills, communication and attention to detail, enables to smoothly coordinate the day to day and month to year operation of large hotels.
With length of service combined with knowledge and contacts, this enables me to make informed decisions.

Interpersonal Skills
A passion for training, I develop my team via communication, skills training and delegation.
I believe in empowerment and total support of my team.
I give and create respect through professionalism, honesty and integrity.
